Hello! My name is Adrianna, and I am a junior in high school. I cheered for the Oak Forest Sparklers for 11 years and have coached the Sparklers cheer team since 2023. Being part of the team was an amazing experience—I got to make new friends, learn new things, and it was always something I looked forward to. Once I began coaching gymnastics and tumbling here as well, I completely fell in love with this job. My favorite part of coaching is watching kids accomplish new skills and seeing how proud they are. In my free time, I love spending time with my friends. My favorite color is green, and my favorite animal is an elephant!
Hi! My name is Ali, and I coach cheer, dance, and gymnastics classes. The first sport I ever did was gymnastics, and when I was 4, I started taking dance classes and joined cheer. I’ve been cheering with the Sparklers competitive team for 10 years and dancing with Momentum Dance Force for 4 years, along with taking recital classes since 2014. I love using what I’ve learned to help kids grow their skills and confidence. Being part of our mentoring program has also helped me grow as a coach and learn spotting, drills, and evaluations. My favorite part of coaching is connecting with the kids and watching them succeed. My favorite color is green, and my favorite animal is a giraffe!
Hi! My name is Cadence, and I coach tumbling and gymnastics here at the park district. I cheered for the Oak Forest Sparklers for 8 years and also cheered at Central Middle School. I’m currently a junior at Tinley Park High School and have been cheering there since the summer before my freshman year. My favorite part of cheer is learning new stunts and tumbling skills because it’s so rewarding to see my hard work pay off. I love being able to make new friends and learn new things while cheering and coaching. Outside of coaching, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. My favorite color is purple, and my favorite animal is a panda!
Hi! My name is Destiny and I’ve been coaching at the Oak Forest Park District since 2017. I basically grew up here, starting in flag football cheer and then moving into competitive cheer and gymnastics. I started coaching in 6th grade and now I’m the cheer and dance program coordinator. I also help coach our cheer team, Sparklers, which I proudly joined when it first started in 2011. Since stepping into my coordinator role, I don’t coach gymnastics as often anymore, but you will still catch me in classes here and there. I love this job because I get to help kids reach their goals and watch their confidence grow. I’m currently working on my bachelor’s degree in psychology with the goal of becoming a school guidance counselor. My favorite color is pink, and I love dogs, dolphins, penguins, and butterflies!
Hi! My name is Jordan, and I’ve been coaching at the Oak Forest Park District since 2022. I grew up cheering on the Steelers Flag Football team, Jack Hille Middle School team, and danced at Oak Forest High School. I currently coach Sparklers cheer as well as some tumbling classes here. My favorite part of coaching is seeing the excitement when a student finally gets a skill they’ve been working hard on. It’s such an amazing feeling to see their hard work pay off. I’m currently a senior majoring in psychology. My favorite color is blue, and I love wolves, jewelry, and crocheting!
