Dance Coaches
Hi everyone! I’m Coach Ali! I’ve been dancing for nearly 12 years, starting with seven years of recreational dance at OFPD before joining our competitive team, Momentum Dance Force, in fall 2021. I’ve trained in ballet, hip hop, jazz, musical theatre, contemporary, and lyrical, and I love helping dancers build a strong foundation before moving on to fun, challenging skills.
I’ve worked with little dancers for many years and also have experience coaching cheerleaders ages 5 to 11, so tiny humans are definitely my specialty! Proper technique is very important to me, but I also want every dancer to feel comfortable, confident, and supported. If something doesn’t feel quite right, we’ll work through it together until it clicks. I’m always happy to answer questions and keep parents informed along the way.
Dance has always been one of my favorite hobbies, and I can’t imagine my life without it. My favorite color is green, my favorite animal is a giraffe, and my favorite dance style is contemporary. I’m so excited for another amazing session and can’t wait to help each dancer grow, learn, and have fun!
Hiii!! I’m Coach Amelia! 🙂 I’ve been dancing for 11 years, including five competitive seasons, and have trained in jazz, hip hop, tap, ballet, contemporary, lyrical, and acro. While I love every style, hip hop and contemporary are definitely my current favorites!
As a coach, my goal is to help dancers reach their goals while encouraging them to set new ones, improve their technique, build a strong work ethic, and become confident both as teammates and as individuals. I want every dancer to feel supported as they grow, not only in their dance skills but also in who they are as a person.
Dance has always been a huge part of my life and has taught me so much both in and out of the studio. I’m excited to share that passion while creating a safe, welcoming, dedicated, and positive environment where every dancer can thrive. I can’t wait for an amazing session together!
Hi! I’m Coach Bella! I’m a dedicated dance coach with four years of teaching experience and training in hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, and jazz. I focus on dancer safety, strong technique, and age-appropriate instruction while working with dancers of various ages and skill levels. My goal is to help dancers grow not only technically, but also in confidence, self-esteem, and a positive mindset. I value respect, inclusivity, teamwork, and creating a supportive and encouraging class environment. I pride myself on clear communication and professionalism within the studio. Outside of dance, I love ice skating, which inspires my creativity and movement!
Hi! I’m Coach Mia! I’ve been dancing since I was three years old and have always had a passion for dance. I trained for several years through the Oak Forest Park District, spent two years competing with Momentum Dance Force, and was a member of my high school Poms Team for three years. During my senior year, I had the honor of serving as captain, which strengthened both my leadership skills and my love for encouraging others.
As a coach, my goal is to create a fun, positive environment where every dancer feels supported while building confidence, learning new skills, and enjoying every moment in the studio. I believe dance is a place where everyone should feel welcome to grow, challenge themselves, and have fun along the way.
When I’m not in the studio, I love reading and doing hair and makeup. I’m so excited to share my love of dance and can’t wait for a great season with all of my dancers!

My goal is to help dancers build confidence, self-esteem, and a positive mindset while creating a supportive, encouraging, and fun environment. I love teamwork and always strive to make every dancer feel seen, valued, and excited to come to class. I also believe clear communication with parents and professionalism in the studio are super important. With experience in choreography and performance, I enjoy helping dancers grow both on and off the floor. Fun facts: My favorite color is blue, I love horses, and I’m always focused on my academics!
What’s up, everyone! My name is Sydney Ferreira, and I’m a professional dance choreographer and coach. I’ve been choreographing and teaching for about 11 years in all styles of dance. Throughout my teaching journey, I’ve had the privilege of working with dancers of all ages. I’ve been involved in so many exciting dance projects, including choreographing for dance teams, coaching varsity high school dance teams, teaching adult classes, and creating dances for recitals, quinceañeras, weddings, and now even Broadway-style shows! Teaching dance has always been my passion, and I’m truly honored to share what I love while being part of this amazing program. I’m currently the head coach of our competitive dance team, MDF. Over the past six years, I’ve watched our park district dancers grow into incredible performers who continuously push themselves to reach their fullest potential. I believe in pushing my dancers to be their best, and I hold myself to that same standard as a coach. Last season was absolutely incredible, with numerous judges’ awards, high overall scores, and two Most Creative Concept banners. It’s safe to say I’m a very proud coach and absolutely love this program!
