Little Tykes Update (8/4/20)
Under careful consideration, the Oak Forest Park District has made the decision to not hold the fall 2020 session of the Little Tykes Program. This decision was not made lightly and we have evaluated the situation from many angles; however, we feel it is the best decision at this time for the safety of our students, staff and families. We hope to be able to offer this program in early 2021. Please continue to check our website and social media for updated information.
Younger children will enjoy learning through play-with-purpose. Arts and crafts are designed to develop fine motor skills. Songs and finger plays are used to develop speech. Stories are read to enhance listening skills. Gym time is provided to develop large motor skills. Children will also enjoy snack time together to practice good manners. Children do not need to be toilet trained, however, you must be able to come if your child has an accident. Children and parents are invited to an end-of-the-year school picnic.
